NAVIS NavAP – Heading Control System

Navis Engineering manufactures a new generation of autopilots — the NavAP Heading Control System. A modern, technologically advanced digital heading control unit intended to reduce the operator's workload, increase vessel motion efficiency and improve operational safety.

The system features a modernised front panel with a 5" or 7" high-resolution IPS display offering wide viewing angles for comfortable visibility in any lighting, including bright sunlight. Protection levels range from IP44 to IP67, making it suitable for outdoor installation on fly bridges or port/starboard wings. The NavAP holds DNV type approval (MED-B certificate) and complies with Regulation (EU) 2018/773 (MED/4.16 and MED/4.40).
