MOORINET – BERTHING AID SYSTEM

Improving Safety Level of Mooring Operations at Seaport

MOORiNET is a Berthing Aid System that simplifies mooring operations and significantly improves safety during the port entrance for any ship size, preventing accidents at seaports.

PORT CONTROL OVER VESSEL MANEUVERS:

The sensors detect various weather conditions and transmit the data to the port operator who supervises the mooring operation. Weather sensors can measure wind, atmospheric pressure, temperature, visibility and sea water conditions. When a ship approaches the port, laser rangefinders and surveillance cameras automatically start monitoring the bow and stern using machine vision. The ship is captured from about 300 meters, and the closer the ship gets, the more accurate the data becomes.

LOADING SAFETY:

MOORiNET monitors where and how the ship is moving and approaching to the berth and helps to reduce number of human errors during mooring operations. This innovative System assist Harbour Master Team and Marine Pilots for remote control from the shore on the mooring operation.
