Opportunity for Fulltime position of Sales Engineer NAVCOM

You are expected to act as a good company representative in a highly professional manner and be a reliable consulting expert to the customers and maintain good relationships. Your responsibilities include identifying, developing, and growing the sales revenue and marketing of KDU range of Navigation and Communication products, solutions and services.

Your activities shall include but not limited to:

• Execute Daily / Weekly Customer contact Plan to include new and existing customers.
• Conduct online customer presentations and prepare sales/project proposals.
• Actively seek and develop new opportunities with customers.
• Promote sales activities, by developing and concentrating on new Key Accounts and developing business with existing Accounts.
• Log and maintain updated customer profile / activities / opportunities in the CRM.
• Collect customer feedback and update Sales management.
• Analyze the market in order to identify future customer requirements; participate in the development of the sales strategies.
• Monitor order processing, invoicing, overdue’s and follow up, if necessary.
• Follow Quality Management system requirements.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication with Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Sales Management
• Minimum two years of Direct Sales experience of Electronics / IT products
• Sound knowledge of Navigation & Communication product portfolio and competitor landscape will be an advantage
• Previous experience of handling key Maritime clients will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Excellent Relationship and Business development Skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative.

Job Function: Services & repair of E&A equipment onboard vessels. Other duties & responsibilities include :

• Has an ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings and schematicHas an ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings and schematic.
• Should have thorough knowledge and working experience in various Boilers like Mitsubishi, Aalborg, Kangrim, Muira, SAACKE etc.
• Should have thorough working knowledge in checking, servicing, and calibration of field instruments like transmitters, positioners etc.
• Carry out unplanned maintenance in the event of a failure or malfunction, with the objective of restoring normal operations as quickly as possible.
• Candidate should have Instrumentation/electronics/automation engineering background.
• Should have experience in PLC programming /SCADA – 1 or 2 years’ experience minimum.
• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner.
• General tasks which includes testing, providing technical support, resolving issues, or doing quality assurance checks.
• Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as identify equipment onboard require repair/replacement, etc.
• Informing to reporting manager and coordination team about embarking the vessel and take permission from technical manager before disembarking.
• Keeping technical manager and coordination team updated with job status.
• Assist technical managers in providing product training, designing, preparing basic estimations & selection of products.

Requirements:

• Instrumentation/electronics/automation engineering background

• Marine Automation preferred

• UAE Driving License is a plus

• Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company’s products or services to customers.
• Discussing equipment needs and system requirements with customers and engineers.
• Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
• Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
• Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers’ technical requirements and needs.
• Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery.
• Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical/Electronic field preferred
• 1-2 years sales experience in UAE Market, marine field is a plus
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and teamwork skills.
• With valid UAE driving license
